The Brandeis Association was established in 1969 as a Not for Profit Corporation. The stated purpose of the Bar association, as set forth in both the Brandeis Constitution and Articles of Incorporation, is to encourage friendship and culture among our members, to foster respect for law and legal institutions and to vigorously assert its interest in justice and fair play in the County of Queens and in the City and State of New York. All members of the Judiciary, Lawyers, Court personnel and others who support the Jewish faith and the U.S. Constitution are eligible for membership.

The Brandeis Association is active year round, planning and executing a wide array of programs and events tailored to promote legal, cultural and social enrichment between its members, and for the community at large. Members participate in and enjoy numerous programs such as the Law Sabbath, the Yom Hashoa Program commemorating the Holocaust, a scholarship breakfast which raises money for eligible law students, dinners featuring interesting and stimulating speakers throughout the year as well as Continuing Legal Education courses on timely and relevant topics.  The Organization has proudly hosted a number of judges and dignitaries at its events, including former Chief Judge Judith Kaye and current Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals, Honorable Jonathan Lippman.  We had the honor and priviledge of meeting U.S. Supreme Court Justice, Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg, at our U.S. Supreme Court Swearing-in event in Washington D.C. in May of 2009.

All who are interested in membership may fill out a registration form on this website and pay for such membership here on-line. We are also on Facebook and may be accessed by using the following link:  http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/56545353631/
